For any of you that are fighting fear this new year: I sat down in church this New Year's Day morning and read the program I had just been handed: "Be of good cheer, your future is as bright as your faith!" It was EXACTLY what I needed to be reminded of this morning. As a mother, I sometimes start to worry and wonder and feel concerned about what's going on in my Continue Reading
Tips on Potty Training from a Mother of Ten
So.... I was terrified. Me? Mother of 10? Should be old-hat by now, yes? But here it was... time to potty-train. I had avoided it, ignored it, waited, watched, and wondered about it, but now it just HAD to be done. I've held this teaching close to my heart as a guide and I have found it to be a fantastic strategy to parenting, it is from a list of 10 ways moms Continue Reading
An Incredible Easter Weekend

The best part of that part is that we were very much spread out, not only was our oldest son, Isaac, in Argentina, and our twin daughters, Emily and Anna, in Utah, but our extended families were far away as well. We were far apart in miles but TOGETHER in heart as we celebrated Easter and listened to General Conference this weekend! (lds.org, click on Continue Reading
