My blog would be called “All Girls but 5”. I have 5 boys including one set of identical twins. My husband and I talk often about blessing our home with more children, but to be honest, I worry. I am super excited to see a large family in action! This gives me hope that it is possible without completely losing my mind.

What a delight to hear of your family!! Congratulations! And I am so glad to hear that you are still considering more. I must admit, having 6 was the very hardest point for me. I will be happy FOREVER that we went on!! I used to say people should have whatever they want: 2, 0, 5 children. Since then, in all my joy, I’ve been knkown to exclaim: EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE 7!…then 8!… now 10!!! Hurray! Perhaps I really found my center through that most challenging time of all. Perhaps life’s just more fun with bigger children to help! We have relied a lot on “The Power of Positive Parenting” by Glenn Latham – I love this approach to being a family, it has helped us SO MUCH. And our church has made all the difference in giving us a support, tools, community and the inspiration we need to thrive. Love to you! CaMarie and Crew

p.s. The Wall Street Journal recently said we don’t have enough baby makers these days! Way to help our country thrive!!!

    Dear CaMary,
I’ve discovered your website only today and I am impressed by your familiy…it’s so beautiful to read about you and how much you love each other! I would like to have many children too, but perhaps it’s too late to plan it … I’ll be soon 33 and I am not married ๐Ÿ˜‰ I like very much the way you describe each member of your family because you underline every single quality of them and as a mother and a wife you live them free fo being what thy want to be. I find sometimes difficult to accept the defects of the people I love, and the differences between us… on the contrary you seem to be able to accept other people with their negative and postive sides..please tell me how you can do it..
    Thank you very much

Dear Elisa, Thank you for joining our blog and for your comments -means a lot to me. I wish you many, many happy days ahead, whether married with children or nourishing others in a million other ways! I appreciate you noticing acceptance of the negative and the positive in others and loving them for who they are. I suspect you are already like that – it takes one to know one, right? But the thing I keep in mind to love my family better (unconditionally) is how imperfect I myself am!! So it is easy for me! LOL! My parents were also very good at supporting me and my siblings in what we loved and desired to do and I want so much to give that to my children also. THANK YOU FOR Celebrating Family, and strengthening families around you even as you hope for one of your own! (I have 2 friends that married later and still had 5 children! S’Wonderful!) I feel we all have many hopes and dreams but we find the most joy just taking full advantage of the opportunities of today and being grateful for the good that IS in our life each moment. Very Best Wishes to you Elisa! CaMarie

I just found you today and I thought it was fun to see your family, we have 5 all boys except for 4. Our son is praying for a baby brother, but maybe this is a glimpse into our future!

Hi, are you the family that took care of a Chinese boy for a month and then they went on to be adopted around 6 months later? Knorpp and south (youtube channel) said that one of their adopted boys stayed with a family in America for a month before they adopted him and they talked to them a lot? Was that you?

I have merely 4 children, and have struggled so much to remain positive and see the goodness. There is so much positive energy and kindness in your home (wow, I should add cooperation without conflict which is AMAZING)…that I am inspired by your family. Today, I am sitting and watching your YouTube videos and literally writing down all the “words” repeated by you and the kids that are not enough a regular part of my script at home. Such as grateful, believe in good, virtuous and trustworthy, joy, believe in good….My children are beautiful gifts that deserve more of these words in their little ears. Thank you for sharing your family and helping me to grow. I am grateful for you!

Dear Anhela, itโ€™s been sometime since Iโ€™ve been on here- off paying attention to my children ๐Ÿ˜†. Your comment soo deeply touched me. I feel you are an instant friend! Thank you soo much for sharing your words and believing in the good – and looking for it in your own family!! Your 4 treasures are counting on you! I KNOW you can be successful in parenting and reap tons of joy now that just grows more with time!! Love to you and yours โค๏ธ
