One of our favorite family traditions is our annual blue and white memorial day family picture. It started 21 years ago- I showed up to take CaMarie on a date for a hike up Logan canyon. When she opened the door I was shocked to see that we both had identical blue and white striped shirts- big surprise for both of us! We had a great hike up what we named “Voss trail”, talked about some great stuff and took a picture which looked way too much like an engagement picture. I had it framed and gave it to CaMarie a month later for her birthday- we got engaged 2 weeks later, married 8 weeks after that and celebrate each year with a family picture on memorial day (ok, we probably missed a few pics in the last 21 years), but its been so fun to see our family grow and change over the past 21 years. This year’s pic is our first and last with all the birds in the nest with our 7 month old Adelynn and Sarah and Isaac leaving on his mission to Argentina in 3 weeks! Next is our traditional memorial day family picnic- we love our family!! Celebrate family traditions!! HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!! -so incredibly grateful for all those in our family, church, and country who sacrificed so much for us to enjoy the blessings of freedom and an abundant life that we enjoy today!
