Thank you Laura! So great that fun really is more simple than we sometimes make it. I think the kids are always happiest when I will just take a minute to sit down and LOOK at them, do something silly or sweet or tender right at home with them! Lately we’ve been loving Raggedy Ann stories together before bed. Nothing quite as great as snuggling together with a good book, yes? Love to you and yours in CA! C&CREW
Hey Hoffman’s, just dropping a line to let you know that your son, Elder Hoffman, is living in our home. It was funny that I saw your first clip about your family about 2-3 months ago and then I just realized today that I had seen him before and finally put two and two together. It is such a joy to have the missionaries with us!
Lora! Oh, I’m OVERJOYED to hear from the one ‘housing’ our son!!! That’s amazing!! I have so many questions for you! My son says he and his companions are both new to the area, did you house the missionaries before? Is it a separate building or part of your home? Do you have children? How’s Elder Hoffman doing?? I’ve been just aching to hear more – hopefully Monday! Isaac sounds so thrilled with his companion, I’m glad you are enjoying them!! We feel blessed to have the missionaries over quite frequently here in PA, they add SO MUCH to our home and ward! THANK YOU for all you do for those young men. Elder Hoffman feels excited to have had the chance for 2 missions – serving there in SLC mission while he awaits his visa! My brother has an awesome video of Elder Hoffman opening his call! (Due to software crashing, it’s been delayed by more than 2 months!) Hope you (&we) get to see it soon. Those months just before his mission are never to be forgotten and Isaac sounds like he’s been on cloud 9 since hitting the mission! May the Lord bless you for all you do!
