It’s
been rainy and dreary and chilly here in PA -which was a great blessing to us yesterday as ALL of our children’s events were cancelled!- and we snuggled indoors together to relish the wonderful opportunity of listening to general conference together without a worry in the world.
(Well Isaac got to be there in person! And Emily and Anna are watching as they serve missions in OR and CA. And our extended family watched from all over. But it makes us feel ALL together to enjoy the words of a the living prophets and apostles together).
And then this morning we woke up with all anticipation for the second day of General Conference and the world around us matched the morning- full of light and life and vivid color and refreshing cool air!!! A GLORIOUS autumn day of glory!!
Wow, I love this life we receive from the Word!

Hello, how are you?
It’s been a long time since your last update, are you all ok?
This past month we have hosted a little girl from Belarus (they come for one month, staying out of their country helps them to reduce their contamination levels – belarus still have a lot of problems after The nuclear disaster that occurred 30 years ago…).
Having 4 little girls in the house was fun but at the same time so tiring (The biggest problem is that I do not have a dryer!!! ????)
I’ve been thinking a lot of you and your 10 kids, of your smiles and positive attitude. Once again, I want to tell you that you are such an inspiration!

Oh Francesca! Sounds like such a precious and challenging time with 4 little girls in the house!! So like All Boys But Nine!! 🙂 I’ve decided all the best times come with the hardest challenges so we may as well really love the good part and just put up with the hard stuff the best we can. 🙂 Hope you thoroughly enjoy this time! And thank you for asking about blogs and videos! 🙂 It’s been the BEST and BUSIEST of times over here too!! I’ve wanted to write on the blog every single day – even planned a new schedule to be sure I had time to write each day (about a month ago!-if that’s any indication of how well that new schedule worked! lol!).
