Happy Halloween Friends! Every Halloween is a challenge to come up with “something to wear”. Many years we’ve combined our efforts and come up with a unique “family” costume that is greater than the sum of it’s parts!
This year we had a blast creating a look quite the opposite to ourselves—we hope!! Hee hee! Though ‘there was an old woman who lived in a shoe, she had soooo many children she didn’t know what to do’ may be the ‘stereotype’ of large families I have found it to be quite the opposite scenario. In most cases I have known, the children are cherished, well nurtured, loved, deeply cared for and well looked after! So OK, maybe don’t ask my daughter’s kindergarten teacher when her homework is late more than once and her library books are hardly ever returned but it’s not ALL crazy, right?!!
Lots o’ Love and Halloween Treats!
The Hoffmans
P.S. It was a TON of FUN creating the shoe!! (Except the shoe falling apart before our very eyes when we were almost done and it was well past bedtime!) another creative costume that didn’t cost a penny!! Wahoo!!!
