It's been rainy and dreary and chilly here in PA -which was a great blessing to us yesterday as ALL of our children's events were cancelled!- and we snuggled indoors together to relish the wonderful opportunity of listening to general conference together without a worry in the world.(Well Isaac got to be there in person! And Emily and Anna are watching as they serve missions in OR and CA. And our Continue Reading
Happy Harvest Season Everyone!- it’s here!!!!!!
5 bushels full = estimated 400 ears = 52 quart size bags of frozen "corn-off-the-cob"!- as Addie refers to it. Oh, the yummiest! Thanks to one of Mike's awesome patients we are privy to the best corn in all the world (I cannot even imagine better). We eat it right up! Or freeze it up for winter! I told Gracie who was getting ready for school nearby to "look and see"! She said, Continue Reading

We've really been struggling with this issue lately, and I decided to start polling some of the moms I know!" She continues, "I know there's no easy answer to the question of technology for teens - although I'm Continue Reading
The After-School Routine

Two years ago we were at our high, 8 children in school from preschool to senior year, with the challenge of new-born twins. I've held this teaching close to my heart as a guide and I have found it to be a fantastic strategy to parenting, it is from a list of 10 ways moms Continue Reading
