So.... I was terrified. Me? Mother of 10? Should be old-hat by now, yes? But here it was... time to potty-train. I had avoided it, ignored it, waited, watched, and wondered about it, but now it just HAD to be done. Sarah had started taking off her own diapers, they both told me when they went in their diaper now (didn't like it and wanted it off), and worst of all today of all days Addie Continue Reading
Goodbyes to our Sister Missionaries! (& perhaps the most pictures ever posted :)
Here's how it all started: (a journal entry on my phone as we drove to the airport to pick up Emily and Anna from finishing their freshman year at college) "We are driving down I-83 south moving toward the Baltimore airport where we will welcome Emily and Anna home with all enthusiasm!!! As you can see even Mo the puppy tried to hang in there but was wearily wondering what was going on!) Dad came to bed by about 6 am for a little rest before jumping up to work all day long to finish Continue Reading

I've held this teaching close to my heart as a guide and I have found it to be a fantastic strategy to parenting, it is from a list of 10 ways moms Continue Reading

We were far apart in miles but TOGETHER in heart as we celebrated Easter and listened to General Conference this weekend! (lds.org, click on Continue Reading
