The message today is BIG, because it’s about BIG dreams. The kind of dreams that usually get lost in a day because the realistic part of your mind turns them off before they even get started.
We’ll never forget creating a “Dream Poster” with the family one night when we were just eleven or twelve. We cut out and drew pictures of our biggest dreams that year, individually and as a family, and glued them on a poster, which we hung up to remember our dreams, no matter how big or crazy! We’ll also never forget the night that we took down that poster just a couple years later to find that all the dreams (except one possibly coming true next summer) had come true on that poster. Now, if you don’t remember, there were some pretty big dreams on there, things we thought couldn’t possibly come true. And they DID! They all started with a dream, and we watched as one by one, those dreams came alive. We learned a lesson we’ll never forget that day and we want all of you to remember: DREAMS COME TRUE.
So go for them! If there’s something great your heart desires, then fly! There are no limits on your greatness if you only try. There’s that saying that says, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” There will be moons that you’ll make it to, and stars that you’ll make it to, but even when you land among the stars, imagine that journey to outer space! It would sure be an incredible one, with many beautiful places along the way. So it is with dreams. In the words of Walt Disney, “If you can dream it, you can do it.”
Now remember,
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…” –Dr. Suess
Dream big! Fly high! Set goals and GO for them- with all your heart! We BELIEVE in YOU and all your greatest dreams! DREAMS DO COME TRUE! Chase them.
We love you forever, we love you for always, forever and always our sisters you’ll be!
Love,
Emily and Anna
